Internal flight

I%26#39;m travelling from the UK to a wedding in north carolina at the end of August. I have found cheap flights to and from Norfolk, but wanted to travel possibly to florida on an internal flight for a week also. Is there somewhere that i can book internal flight from England, or can I do this once I%26#39;m in Norfolk/Outer banks? if either, which would be the chepest option?

I%26#39;m going to be staying in Nags Head in Outer Banks for the wedding and hopefully going the Florida Keys area for the remainder of the time. We were originally thinking of driving down to the Keys area, but i think it might be a bit of a long journey.
