Looking for some great shopping in Hendersonville to do with some girlfriends in early Nov.
The group likes home decor stuff... Was checking out Portabella %26amp; the Linen store. Any other places that you would recommend?

Home decor - lots of little shops downtown...but also swing by The World of Clothing right off I-26 at 64. It looks like a dump but they have a marvelous selection of oriental rugs, some decent art, and sometimes some nice lamps ( it%26#39;s not just clothing)- all at great prices. Right up the road from there ( closer to 64) is an old house ( near the Waffle House I believe) that%26#39;s a gift shop. My wife LOVES that place. She has bought several nice decorative items there.

Thanks for the info and directins. We%26#39;ll be sure to check it out! Thank your wife too :)
If you haven%26#39;t made reservations yet for a hotel, I highly recommend the Inn on Church Street. If not to stay for the night, then for dinner. It%26#39;s a charming B %26amp; B and their dinner is divine.
You must check our Silver Fox gallery in the 500 block of North Main Street, next to Kilwin%26#39;s Ice Cream. I believe Bonnie has the best taste in town.
Thanks for the gallery idea. We%26#39;ll check it out.
All shops along Main street are wonderful. Just start at one end and go to the other. For a good coffee shop, I recommend The Living Room. Nice stop for a rest. Also, across from The World of Clothing is A Day in the Country. Also is Bloomfields off I 26 at exit 53. Old Towne Market off 7th and Locust is nice as well.
