Me and my buddies were planning a trip to the Harrah Cherokee casino, but we all agreed that the machines are so thight now that all the fun is gone.
It is not worth it anymore, even with the comped room. Cherokee looks so sad and depressing, we always get the feeling that things keep going downhill there.
So long Harrahs Cherokee Casino, you have lost more customers here.
Bye bye harrahs cherokee casino.
I think you are right about tight machines. I am going to give them one more chance on the 18th. Will post t/r on return.
Bye bye harrahs cherokee casino.
I was just at Harrahs Casino in Cherokee we played the 25 cent wheel of fortune machines they are the best we played $20.00 and walked out with over $200.00 in just about an hour.
Ill post trip review with tons of pictures from Cherokee and the Casino.
Happynow,
It is good to hear that you won a few dollars. Sometimes you will win but most of the time you lose. It is just the odds.

Always good to hear of someone winning.
I was in there a couple years ago with my brother. I don%26#39;t gamble, but spent $10 on the slots.
He came away $200 up playing cards. I thought it was a pretty good deal.
a couple of years ago... the payouts were decent, now
they are non-existent...
Intmech: how did you do in the casino?
We returned to Winston (460 mile r/t) Sunday afternoon after one day at the casino. We had a compted room at the casino hotel, very nice. There is no recession at the Cherokee casino, the place was packed. We attended the diamond card celebration and ate well at the buffet.I played mostly video poker(1.00)and several high limit slots. No big wins but lots of small hits, enough to keep playing for 8 hrs.Yes i lost my limit and cashed out at 1 am for rest time.
One change i noticed after hitting 600.00 on raffle reel machine. That amount was considered jackpot and was given a w-2.They say N.C. required w-2.
Good trip will return in couple months? Maybe we go to W.VA IN May.
I have not been to the casio but from my past days of running the dirt track race cars they are required to give a w-2 or similar for over $500.00 winnings. At least at the race track.
John
I don%26#39;t know about anyone else but a dry casino doesn%26#39;t sound like much fun to me. I thought it was bad enough to spend hundreds on dollars and not get drinks comped let alone none available at all.
