Hey guys again...I am very nervous about my vacation that we have planned to Topsail. I wasn%26#39;t able to get the house I had before ...so my options are two rental companies I have not dealt with before.

I originally was asking about Open Sea Sun from topsail realty%26lt;829 North anderson Blvd%26gt; . Basically they sent out the contract, we received it a day before it was due with the funds. Due to my husband not being home, we sent it out on the weekend. I called them but they opened the week back up to be rented. They told us if the place gets rented before they get our check, then we are out of luck. It also looks like it is fairly close to some sort of Condos?

So I went and found a back up house. We looked at Beach Mania%26lt;435 N. Anderson Blvd.%26gt; through Island Real Estate. We almost like this house better. The lady I spoke with was really great. She gave me a discount %26lt;coupon%26gt; on the rent and was easy to work with. But because of the reviews on this website, I am hesitant about pushing forward. I am afraid the house won%26#39;t be what is represented on the website.

Topsail Realty got good reviews..but I am not positive with them either. Is Island really that bad? Has anyone been in Beach Mania?

Thanks so much you guys..I think I am hesitant because the house I stayed in last year wasn%26#39;t very clean..and I had to clean it. I did it and enjoyed my vacation..but I am trying to avoid having to do that beforehand

I can vouch for Island Realty ,not so much for Island.Have you checked out Bryson and Associates?

Yes, they didn%26#39;t have anything for me...I looked at Ward also..who I have used before and liked them..but since we are so late with this..there isn%26#39;t too much left that can help me

Relax, please. Most of these homes are privatly owned, and just the rental company rents them out, as the middle man. Call the realitor and ask questions, then more questions. Don%26#39;t stop until satisfied. There are literllay 1000%26#39;s of rental properties on Topsail. From what I can see here just from this web-site you are doing your homework.

Maybe securing your rental with a credit card(if your positive) will help in the future.

Hey guys..Thanks for the help.. Djad..I just wanted to make the best decision possible..I hate to plop down a good amount of money and not have it be like I expected. Plus we are bringing our dogs so I wanted to make sure 829 N Anderson was not near any condos where it would be more crowded. I was specifically looking for the more quiet uncrowded areas%26lt;not that Topsail is all that crowded!%26gt; I just have to have my own little piece of paradise for a week.

LOL I just can%26#39;t help myself..I have to do the most I can to make sure it is right..and then I can relax..

Hopefully we made the right decision and Topsail Realty is a good company. I am definitely looking forward to coming back to Topsail!
