Try Ocean Dunes Resort. It is in Kure Beach...but that is almost part of Carolina beach area. Just

5 miles or so down the road.

We used Bullard Realty...very helpful.

I would suggest looking in the Kure Beach area. I just returned from a week stay in the Carolina Beach area ,our first and last visit there. We rented 2bd/2bath condo at Sand Pebbles. The condo was lovely, the complex- not so much. We booked thru

http://www.victorybeachvacations.com/, I highly recommend them. Also, have a hotdog at Pop%26#39;s. The owner was one of the friendliest people we talked to the entire week! Plus, towing cars appears to be a BIG money maker. We watched several cars at our complex get towed for not displaying their parking permit (which is dated). So, when you see the sign ';permit parking only'; they mean it!

I have stayed in the coral surf complex (Coral Surf 1D condo to be exact) booked through Network realty. Pool is small, but the condo is great!
