this will be our 1st visit to the Outer Banks. After leaving a child in Charleton for college we are heading back to Maine. We are planning on taking 3-4 days back. We love the beach and would like to relax for a couple of days. Would Corolla be a good place to relax for a couple of days? Is it a reasonable spot to stop enroute from Charleston? We are considering the Hampton Inn in Corolla, we want to stay on the beach and it will probably be the weekend of aug. 21st. Any suggestions for a great place to hang out at the beach for two days. Thanks in advance.

Very nice hotel. Great location. Sounds like the perfect spot for 2 days of R%26amp;R. Have fun!
