Just booked a house for August in Whaleshead Beach.

Located at 1006 Corolla Drive.

Is anyone familiar with the area?

Anything you can tell me about it would be much appreciated.

Whalehead is a little south of the actual town of Corolla. You will be near Timbuk II shopping and close to the Food Lion and Harris Teeter grocery stores. If you go to obxconnection.com, you can get lots of help from locals and frequent visitors. We went to Corolla for the first time last summer and loved it.
