We are staying in a cabin near Boone in June. Where would you suggest we eat besides the typical chains? Thank you in advance for your help!

Mellow Mushroom is a very good pizza joint. I guess it%26#39;s technically a chain, but their pizza is very good and the beer selection rocks (although unfortunately Boone is a dry town). There%26#39;s one in Boone and in Blowing Rock.
